July's custom Flash Battery is a high-voltage 640V - 300 Ah 192 kWh battery system developed for a heavy duty side loader used in the aluminium and steel industry.

⚡ High mechanical customisation on 7 units connected in series with a junction box specifically developed for high voltages
⚡ CCS combo charging socket with 70 kW off-board charger
⚡ High Voltage Manual Service Disconnect (MSD) for enhanced operator safety
⚡ Integrated automotive High-voltage Interlock (HVIL) safety system and insulation monitoring
⚡ Integrated pre-charge circuit
"It was an exciting project, where we worked along with Powertrain system integrator Atech GmbH, our partner on the German market, to support the customer in defining the entire system architecture. We designed a battery that could fit into an extremely energy-intensive application, which required very special technical characteristics, starting from the high mechanical engineering. As a matter of fact, the 192 kWh energy pack is made up of 7 packs connected in series with an electronics capable of actively and passively balancing 640 V. Inside, we have then integrated a junction box with dedicated high-voltage components. A veritable 6-handed cooperation to create the first full-electric version of the heavy duty side loader of the range, where efficiency, safety and the zero emissions offered by electric power represent the new frontier of industrial performance".
