Product information

The modular system consists mostly of functions based on firmware whereby battery modules can be installed in parallel in the same application.

There are 3 possible types of configurations:

o Stand-alone battery

o Master battery

o Slave battery

 

Application

  • For high-capacity batteries (>600Ah), where there are no additional costs associated with dividing the capacity across battery packs
  • For producing several vehicles with different energy requirements → one battery code for all applications

 

PROS

  • Single battery code
  • Easy configuration
  • Modularity
  • Simplified supply chain
  • Quick and simple installation
  • Simplified battery capacity management

CONS

  • Less flexibility in terms of interconnections and specific functions
  • High fixed costs
  • More structural changes to vehicles instead of battery
  • Optional features and specific functions avoided
  • Small modules are not cost-effective
