The EPS TA (Torque Assisted) steering control is a compact torque-controlled steering control which is particularly suitable for vehicles with tiller (e.g. drawbar-mounted machines). With the EPS TA, the engine provides additional steering torque, which makes the operation of the vehicle much easier.

The steering control is equipped with a CAN bus interface, dual microprocessors and flash memory. To comply with category 3 (standard EN-1175 safety of industrial trucks), the EPS-TA is equipped with a master microcontroller (control functions) and a slave microcontroller (safety functions).
